DC Site Services is working in partnership with one of our long-term approved providers, Newthorn Events Ltd to offer our event staff a free NVQ level two in understanding Spectator Safety!

As of 2020 (the year which makes us all shudder), this qualification became compulsory to work at indoor events, so we’d like to offer this to any of our crew who would be interested in taking part.

Ordinarily this would be a costly qualification to attain, however at this stage we have secured funding, so the entire course would be at zero cost to yourself. To adhere to social distancing measures and to keep everyone safe, the course will take place online through a number of zoom classes, and one to one sessions.

The qualification is made up of two parts. This involves answering questions; however, the majority of the qualification is work based, drawing on your work experiences, case studies and being observed. There will also be first aid training to accompany the qualification.
