The Battle Proms at Burghley is held on an impressive elevated parkland position overlooking the grand Elizabethan architecture of Burghley House - the perfect setting for an afternoon of sublime music and dramatic displays.
Burghley was built for Sir William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1558 and 1587. It has featured in blockbusters such as The Da Vinci Code and Pride and Prejudice and last year enjoyed the interest of Julian Fellowes as part of his ‘Great Houses’ series.
